derek trucks
Thanks for recording this great show. Yes the weather was great, and once again the afternoon show proved to be one of the best. Derek Trucks guy has a great vibe and persona, and of course, the band has soul.

Great Set....
Wow... I've seen them over the years and this is by far one of the greatest DTB shows... Derek has matured and seasoned into a legend. It was just 10 years ago when I first saw him open for Mule in Poughkeepsie, a timid kid hiding behind his SG. Met him after this MJ set and he's just a sweet guy, and the band hung out and spoke with a small group of us in the dusty windy parking lot near their bus. Long live Derek, definitely one for the ages! He's up there with Duane and Stevie Ray, he has totally fit into that role.

Show of the Weekend!!
Wow,,,what a show! The best non-Mule show of the weekend, and it happened during a relatively nice afternoon, before the cold winds that blew us down to the shelter of our tents and forced many of us to pass on ABB. Anyways instant DL. Thanks so much for this, and sorry to hear about the security incident. My 1st MJ and it seems like the security rules just kept changing all weekend. I've never seen so many people being led away in cuff's before, yet they couldn't keep sketchies from blowing through the VIP rippin peoples shit off. Oh well, you get good and bad at these things, and this set was definitely "the good".

Sick set here from Mountain Jam...
Derek blew me away this set with his amazing band. Great vocalist and I really loved seeing Mtume playing those drums. It has always been a dream to see his perform ever scince i heard him with Miles Davis. Such a bad ass. I really think this was better than the Frozen Allmans Brothers shortened set. As a keyboardist I really dug the funky chops on the 88's. My favorite things really got everyone's attention. Thanks to the tapers for allowing us all to relive the experience again!
